Job Seeker FAQs
You can only message a company on ZEIL if they have messaged you first. To view your messages, click ‘inbox’ on the bottom menu in your candidate profile.
Your CV automatically updates when you edit your ZEIL job-seeker profile. To edit your profile, open the app and click on the account button in the bottom menu.
To view your applications, including your saved, in-progress, applied and passed jobs, open ZEIL and click on the track button in your bottom menu.
Your job seeker profile can only be seen by employers when you apply for a job.
If you’ve made a mistake and want to view a job that you have passed. From the bottom menu in your job seeker profile, click track and scroll to ‘passed’ jobs.
The easiest way to apply for a job on ZEIL is to swipe right on the job card, or if you want more information on that job, swipe up and click on the purple tick once you have viewed the description.
When you draft a role on ZEIL, select ‘plus’ or ‘basic’ campaign. Once you select your campaign, you will be prompted to upload photos for your library or you can take a photo on the spot. The images you upload will be available to you every time you draft a job.
When a candidate applies for your job, click into your active job listing, click on their profile and select ‘message’.
When you open the ZEIL app, hold down on your profile picture in the bottom right corner, which will bring up your list of active brand pages. You can now select and move across to your company profile.
You can view candidate applications from your company profile on our app or the company web portal. When you click on your active job listing, all active candidates will be viewable in a list.
Yes, you can edit your job listing. From your company profile, access your active listing and click on the pencil icon. Make sure once you have edited a section in your job listing that you press the purple save button.
